Hello friends!
Since my sweet babies just turned three (sniff!), birthdays have been a big topic of discussion at Twodaloo central. Although, since their birthdays are so close to Christmas, I have to admit the two celebrations have been a bit tangled in the kids’ minds…Will runs around the house saying “Happy Birthday to all, and to all a good night!” Oh, to be three again 😉 Anywho, I’m so excited to be over at Fantastic Fun and Learning today sharing a super fun, open-ended craft that we did to celebrate the occasion. Our Sticky Birthday Hats were a huge hit with the twins and they provide great fine motor practice as well as encouraging creativity and pretend play (which is one of my faves for language development). So hop on over and check them out, and while you’re there, please take a few minutes to check out Shaunna’s amazing site, too! She has built an INCREDIBLE resource for parents and teachers looking for hands-on activities for playful learning for little ones, and one of my favorite things about her site is her collection of themed units, since using themes is wonderful for encouraging language development as well (more to come on that shortly). So please, click HERE to hop on over, and have a wonderful week!

We have the same ‘problem’ in our house! Our girls turned 3 on the 29th of Dec and they insisted Santa brought the gifts! Happy {belated} birthday to your precious children!
Thanks, Jandi! I’m glad mine aren’t the only ones who are a tad confused 😉 😉
