What is Playing With Language?
As speech-language pathologists and mothers of young children, we are always thinking about ways to turn our kids’ activities into more language-rich experiences. What we want you to know is that language-building activities don’t have to be elaborate or time consuming or costly…you are probably doing lots of them already without even knowing it! Recently, Katie and I put our heads together and came up with our top ten ways to play with language and we each posted on five of them over the course of a month. But lucky you- you can read them all RIGHT NOW by clicking the photos below!
Each post is jam packed with information, ideas, and even a few freebies to make language stimulation fun and achievable for parents and professionals. So please, read, learn, and share the information below, and feel free to contact us with further questions or comments!
