Hi friends!
Once upon a time, in a land before twins, I was very into clothing and fashion and keeping up with the latest trends. I bought expensive makeup and designer jeans and had lots of sparkly shoes. Fast forward a few years, and my former fashionista self would most definitely cringe at the new me. You see, in my world, a fashion statement these days is taking a shower. I wear a baseball cap regularly so I don’t have to fix my hair. I most often accessorize my outfits with paint, mud, or diaper cream, some days all of the above!
One of my more creative “accessories” from my early days with the twins…that’s what pure exhaustion looks like, people.
Considering this sad state of affairs, I was surprised when my sweet friend Jayme asked me to host an online Stella and Dot event for her to help launch her new jewelry business. We have been friends ever since our freshman year at TCU, so she knows how far I’ve fallen 
However, when she explained that Stella and Dot is offering a special collection of pieces for the month of April in honor of Autism Awareness Month, I knew I wanted to learn more. Having spent much of my pre-twins career working and doing research with children affected by autism spectrum disorders and their families, it’s a cause that’s near and dear to my heart. So here are the details:
- For the month of April, Stella and Dot will be donating 20% of retail sales from items featured in the Autism Awareness Boutique to the HollyRod Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping families living with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Parkinson’s Disease.
