Today was a fun and very special day-a baby shower for Mama Tex! Since the shower was to take place in October, and since pumpkins have special meaning for her family (Daddy Tex proposed in a pumpkin patch…awwww!), we decided a Little Pumpkin shower would be perfect. I did several fun craft projects for this shower, so instead of sharing it all in one massive post, I decided to give you a little overview in the form of some “eye candy” and will be posting more detailed tutorials and recipes all week. Gotta get ’em all in there before Halloween!!
Guests were greeted at the door by a festive felt pumpkin wreath adorned with Baby Tex’s first initial. Get the tutorial for this wreath here or by clicking the picture.
Instead of a traditional guest book, we encouraged guests to visit “Affirmation Station” and contribute to a Words of Strength book as well as personalize a wooden bead for her Beads of Courage. Read more about our Affirmation Station here!
We kept the food table simple yet rustic with some pumpkin-themed treats! Click here for some yummy recipes, including Pumpkin Pie Dip, Pumpkin Whoopie Pies with Fluffy Nutella Buttercream, and Hot Corn Dip.
Burlap rosettes from my Fall Harvest Mantel were the perfect accent.
When it was time to open gifts, some fun burlap and felt pumpkin bunting with applique’d onesies (made with Riley Blake chevron, of course) made a festive backdrop.
This bunting is one of my favorite projects of this season! Click here for a how-to.
A radiant Mama Tex. We couldn’t be any happier for her!
On the way out, guests were treated with a fun party favor- oreo pumpkin pops! Click here for the tutorial…these would be perfect for Halloween parties or even Thanksgiving.
Hope you enjoyed that sneak peek…check back tomorrow for some yummy recipes!

Everything looks amazing!
Thanks, Lindsay! It was really fun!
This might be the cutest baby shower theme EVER! Thanks for entering in the Perfectly Pumpkin Contest.
Thanks, Krissy! I’m so excited to see all the great ideas that are linking up to the contest! Pumpkins are my favorite thing EVER!
Closing the last half mile to Bay Shore, the “Lauren Kristy” swallowed
gulps of the now oily-black water with its bow, seeming caught in a sea-and-sky void presently pierced by the pinpoints
of light defining the approaching coast ahead and the 7. The compressors found at the back
of refrigerators and Air Conditioners are solely responsible
for transmitting power into a usable form that keeps our food fresh and room cooler.
Most of the email questions I sent to online battery shops netted me sales pitch calls and emails.
It’s amazing in support of me to have a site, which is beneficial for my knowledge.
thanks admin
