I’m so glad you stopped by and hope you stay awhile.
I’m Stephanie and I’m the boss lady around these parts. I am passionate about play-based learning and feel that every child should have the chance to discover the world at his/her own pace through hands-on exploration.
I began my career as speech-language pathologist specializing in child language development. After working for many years in the public schools, I returned for my Ph.D. and was halfway done when I got the surprise of my life…boy/girl twins! Will and Sydney were born two months early, so the fact that they were at risk for developmental delays because of their prematurity had me even more motivated to keep them engaged and stimulated. I started Twodaloo as a way to share developmental information and activities with other moms, therapists, and teachers.
I am so excited to be returning to the classroom this fall, this time as a teacher of 2 and 3 year olds at our tiny cooperative preschool! I’m looking forward to sharing my classroom activities and adventures here on the blog- lots of fun times ahead!
